Longview Public Schools is recognizing disability history throughout our district this October! We hope to help increase awareness and understanding of the contributions of people with disabilities in our society. We believe that recognizing disability history will increase respect and promote acceptance of people with disabilities. By recognizing disability history, we hope to inspire students with disabilities to feel a greater sense of pride, reduce bullying, and help students with disabilities stay in school.
