Former Longview Public School board member Phil Jurmu, resigned his position on the school board at the end of September 2020.

The district advertised for applicants to fill the open board seat and the board interviewed numerous candidates. After deliberating, the board voted to install Crystal Moldenhauer to the vacant board seat.

Crystal was born and raised in the local area and has kids who attend Longview Public Schools. We appreciate all the interest in the open board seat and look forward to the contributions Crystal will make to the district.
